McGurk, Edward, 69, of Brandon, passed away on September 28, 2009. Edward proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was also very active with the AmVets, Post 26 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles, both in Valrico. He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Annette McGurk; and his sister, Ann Lipski. Edward is survived by his loving family, wife, Fran McGurk; children, Eddie (Geri) McGurk, Trish Kreisel and Peggy Loar; grandchildren, Dayna (Alexie) Rosado, Nick McGurk, Michelle Mateo, Stephen Mateo, Jr, Ashley Kreisel and KelliAnne Loar; great-grandchildren, Jovan, Natalie, Jonathan, Jamel and Stephen, III; sister, Rita (Skip) Harring; brother, Mike (Carla) McGurk; several nephews and an extended loving family and friends. The family is requesting that friends join them as they Celebrate Ed's Life on Sunday, October 4, 2009 at 2:00 pm at The Fraternal Order of Eagles, 1800 N Front St, Valrico.
