MILLER, Edith M., 77, formerly of Bradenton, FL, beloved by family and friends passed away peacefully in the presence of her loving children at LifePath Hospice At Sun City on June 10, 2017. She was born in Gridley, CA on May 14, 1940 to Harold and Edna (Hanscom) Cady. Edna married Roy Clark in 1942 and moved to Medford, OR where Edith grew up and graduated from Laurelwood Academy. She married Richard E. Johnson in May 1959. They moved to Bradenton, FL and raised three children. Edith married Timothy I. Miller in March 1977. She served as the office manager in her husband's business for over 25 years until the diagnosis of Alzheimer's forced her into early retirement in November 2006. Her daughter moved her to Brandon to manage her care in 2011 after Edith's husband passed away. She is preceded in death by her parents, step-father, husband Timothy I. Miller, brother Milton Cady and brother-in-law Clarence Hayward, Jim Oberst and sister-in-law Lynn Clark. She is survived by her three children Richard Johnson, Victor Johnson and Lisa Johnson-Wortman (Shel) and three step-children, Kim Garnett (Brian), John Miller, Tim Miller, Jr., her grandchildren Jenna Johnson Widner, Tyler Johnson (Schyler), Skylar Rainey (Rex), Ally Wortman, Sophia Wortman, great-grandchildren Logan and Jaxon Widner and multiple step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Betty Hayward, brother Victor Cady (Mary), half-sister Delores Oberst, half-brother Lee Clark, sister-in-law Jan Cady, Lynn Greenwalt (Lynn) and brother-in-law Buddy Miller. She was a member of the Bradenton Seventh-day Adventist Church. She instilled in her three children the importance of faith in the Lord. Her children, family and friends will miss her beautiful eyes, sweet smile and kind heart. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Brandon SDA Church, 1221 Victoria Street, Brandon, FL. Visitation at 4pm, Memorial Service at 5pm. Pastor Michael Pettengill officiating.
