Oliver, Dorothy C, 92, of Brandon, passed away on May 7, 2018. Dorothy was devoted to reading the Bible and teaching during her Women's Bible Study. She was a seamstress who specialized in making draperies and enjoyed teaching her grandchildren how to sew. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leo E Oliver; son, Lester E Oliver; and brother, Melvin Glen Neel. Dorothy is survived by her loving family, children, Leon Gerald Oliver, Dorothy Christine Oliver Cline, Melvin Carl (Valera) Oliver, and Robert Donald Oliver; sisters, Jeanette Neel Bennett, and Barbara Jane Reed (Dennis); 13 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. There will be a funeral service on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at 2:30 pm at Church of Christ at Valrico, 1520 S Miller Road, Valrico, FL 33594, with a visitation one hour prior. Dorothy will be laid to rest at Hillsboro Memorial Gardens.
