Dorothy Jean Kuettner, age 76, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2026, at The Hospice House in Sun City Center, Florida.

She is survived by her three children, Janice Brill, Michael Kuettner, and David Kuettner; six grandchildren, who were the joy of her life; and her two sisters, Kathie Riek and Barbara Warner. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Kuettner, and her parents, William and Dorothea Landres.

Dorothy devoted her career to education, working as a teacher and later as a technology trainer for fellow educators before retiring. She was deeply involved in her church community, including Stephen Ministries, and lived her faith through service to others. Dorothy especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and attending their many activities.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 17, at 2:00 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church of Brandon at 121 Carver Street.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to your local Hospice in Dorothy's memory.
