De Vito, Dorothy Jean, 85, of Brandon, passed away, April 7, 2023 at Saint Joseph's Hospital.  Born October 21, 1937, in Fayette County, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Willard Lewis Hearn and Marie Florence Hitt.  She lived in Brandon/Riverview, Florida for 40 years.  Proud wife of a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars, an avid Bingo Player and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She was married for 48 years to her loving husband, Frank, who passed away March 28, 2006. She is survived by her sister, Barbara Strickland and husband Walt; children, Darlene Egan, Palm Harbor, Lori Quiroz and husband, Rick, Palm Harbor, and Frank De Vito III and wife Serenee, Lithia; and grandchildren, Michael and Kyle Egan, Aleece Quiroz Swinford and Ricky Quiroz, and Sophia and Zachary De Vito; great grandchildren, Eila Egan and Eden and Evaline Quiroz.

The family will receive friends and family for a gathering and celebration of her life conducted at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home, 6919 Providence Road, Riverview. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 14, 2023 11 AM with  burial services to follow at 12 Noon at  Serenity Meadows Memorial Park immediately following the celebration of life.  In lieu of flowers, please donate on Dorothy's behalf to the Humane Society of Tampa Bay or The Spring of Tampa Bay.
