Donna Marie Knotts passed to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ this Friday, May 31, 2013 at her home in Brandon, FL. She was born June 23, 1941 in Penn Yan, NY to Edith and Wilbur Hurlbutt. Donna was an artist, teacher, and loving mother. She attended and taught Mission Friends at Bell Shoals Baptist Church, and volunteered with the Brandon Regional Hospital Auxiliary. She loved to garden, spend time at the beach, and be surrounded by family and friends. She is survived by her friend and companion, Ron Pieczkowski; her 4 children, Jill Crosby of Marietta, GA, Beverly Dittmar of Plant City, FL, Ronnie Knotts, Jr. of Marietta, GA, and Jennifer Carey of Riverview, FL; brother, Jim Hurlbutt; 9 grandchildren; and many family and friends. Her Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at 2 PM at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home in Riverview, FL.
