Donna Marie Hart passed away surrounded by her family on March 15th, 2021 in Lithia, Florida. Born to Marguerite and Edgar Broyles in LaFollette Tennessee on December 24th 1938.

Donna spent most of her youth in Bradenton, Fl. Her mother died when she was only 2. She spent a short time in foster care then lived with her dad and other relatives. She was very social and enjoyed school. She played clarinet in the Manatee High school marching band and had many good friends from her high school days who she remained close to throughout her life. After graduation she worked as a telephone operator then for the post office. She moved from Anna Maria Island to Key West in 1976.

Donna spent many wonderful years in Key West with husband Ed Hart and her three children. She worked as a bookkeeper at Glynn Archer Elementary. Her life revolved around her children and you could always find her at every school event including countless baseball games watching her son Chris and football games watching her Conchette daughters. She loved cheering everyone on! She chaperoned every event but especially loved the many baseball trips she traveled to with the other passionate Key West baseball families. When she wasn't doing things for her kids she loved spending time with her friends enjoying the music of Coffee Butler at The Hukilau.

Donna left Key West to be closer to her family in Lithia, Florida. There wasn't anything she loved more than cheering on her grandchildren and their friends at every event. She also became involved with volunteering in the community. She was involved with The Red Hat society, Charity Chicks, her bowling league, her neighborhood OWLS group, ECHO, and she loved her church Grace Community UMC. She was blessed with a wonderful close group of friends. She loved their Monday night card games and Thursday ladies night! Recently, she enjoyed sitting in her driveway and watching the neighbors and their pets stroll by.

Donna loved her pets, music, dancing, a rainstorm, a glass of red wine, feeding and watching her wild birds and squirrels.  She was an amazing mother and wonderful friend. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Pat and husband Ed. She is survived by her children Kerri(Tim Murphy), Kelli(Tony West), Chris(Lori Huffine) as well as her grandchildren Brian, Ben, Kyle, Abby, Ally, Andrew, Sophia, Charli and Alex.

Although she will be missed tremendously it brings us great comfort to know she is with God, reunited with her family and friends rejoicing in heaven.

A celebration of her life will be held at Grace Community Church, 5708 Lithia Pinecrest Rd, Lithia, FL 33547 on Sunday March 28th at 1:00 pm . It will also be live streamed on Grace Community's Facebook page. Feel free to wear her favorite color red or anything cheerful. In lieu of flowers we know mom would prefer a donation made in her name to Seeds of Hope or Long Way Adoptable pets.
