SHORT, Donald C., 72 of Riverview passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2008. Dewey moved to the area 9 years ago from Germany, after a 33 year career with the U.S. Air Force. He is survived by: his loving wife of 30 years, Barbara "Barbie"; sons, Darrel and Darren Short; daughters, Dawn Main and Deanne Myers; brother, Joe Brummitt; sisters, Jean and Rose Marie Brummitt; 7 grandchildren. A celebration of Dewey's life will be held at 7:00 PM on Monday, November 3, 2008 at Serenity Meadows Memorial Park, 6919 Providence Road, Riverview. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home.
