On the morning of July 14th 2023. Donald "Donnie" Clarence Price passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's hospital in Tampa, Florida. Donald was 72 years of age. Donald was born to Marie and Clyde Price of St. Joseph, Missouri on July 29, 1950. Donald married the love of his life Margaret "Peggy" Price at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, located in Tampa, Florida on December 16, 1972, and they lived in the Brandon area. He spent most of his life in the Tampa Bay area.

Donald served in the United States Air Force as a truck driver and spent two years in Vietnam serving his country. When he returned home, he continued his career as a truck driver for 25 years with Florida Steel with the handle name of "Wishful Thinker" He was awarded the Million Mile Club award for recognition in driving One Million Miles with no accidents during his time as a driver.

Donald is survived by his wife of 50 years, Peggy Price and his two children Justin Price (Jaime) and Jessica Price Glenn (Andy). He is also survived by his seven grandchildren, Cole Pritchard, Ivy Clinard (Noah), Wyatt Price, Lauren Price, Bella Reis, Sophia Reis and Weston Price, his fur child Vista, his two brothers Garry Price and Thomas Price and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Larry Price, and Edwin Price.

Donnie loved to woodwork and often made beautiful pieces for family and friends, He was the neighborhood dad. The kids would often seek him out to fix bike chains, tie shoes and mend broken toys. He self-taught himself to play the guitar left-handed and would often have jam sessions in the dining room with his children. He was often outside with his family just enjoying the outdoors. He loved to fish and would joke that he was never any good at it, he just enjoyed spending time with whoever wanted to tag along. Donald had a smile that could light up any room and the personality to keep it glowing.

The family would be honored in sharing a celebration of life with you. A service to celebrate his beautiful life will be held on the 11th of August 2023 at Serenity Meadows 6919 Providence Road Riverview, Florida 33578 6pm
