Donald Eugene Pollesch, age 90, of Brandon, Florida, peacefully passed away on July 26, 2026. Born on February 28, 1936, in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, he was the beloved son of Eugene F. Pollesch and Alice Holz Pollesch.

Growing up in Fox Lake, Wisconsin, Donald graduated from Fox Lake High School before serving his country in the Navy for four years. Returning home, he joined his father in purchasing a grocery store. In 1966, he relocated to Florida with his family, managing a Pantry Pride grocery store and later retiring from Keebler.

A devoted Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan, Donald never missed a game unless the Green Bay Packers were playing. He was also known for his beautifully maintained yard, admired by his neighbors.

Donald is survived by his cherished wife of 65 years, Kathleen, his son Ricky Pollesch (Rhonda), daughter Renee Cortes (Rusty), grandson Colt Pollesch, granddaughters Brittany Cortes, Amanda Cortes, and Rikki Cordova, and two adored great-grandchildren, Lane Pollesch and Benny Cordova, with another Pollesch baby on the way.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Lifepath Hospice in Sun City for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, donations to Lifepath Hospice are appreciated.

A Memorial Service will take place on Friday, August 7, 2026, at 12 pm at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home, with a gathering preceding the service.
