Butts, Donald Ray, at 11:15 am on June 4, 2015, Donald Ray Butts left us at the young age of 65. His brother Jimmy and his daughter Denah were by his side. Known as Donnie by most, he was a gentle, polite, creative, loving soul with a fierce will to experience all life had to offer him. His faith was strong and he approached the end of his life with a sense of acceptance, grace, and even adventure. Never a complaint to offer, he never became self-absorbed and he remained curious about what family and friends were doing and enjoying all the way into his last days. A dearly loved brother, father, and grandfather a proud marine a phenomenal electrician Donnie loved to fish, hunt, golf, ride motorcycles, play poker, and surround himself with colorful, entertaining people. Donnie is survived by two brothers (Jimmy and Terry), his daughter (Denah), and his granddaughter (Kendra). He will be greatly missed and sweetly remembered by family and friends alike. A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 11, 2015 at 6:30 pm at Southside Baptist Church - 415 W Lumsden Rd in Riverview.
