Freeman, Don Ray "Yogi Bear", 74, of Gibsonton, passed away on October 20, 2011. He proudly served in the United States Army, 82nd Airborne and was a member of the DeSoto Lodge #105, the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge # 2158 and the Elks Lodge # 2672. He was the owner of Don's Portable Welding, Inc. for 30 years. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Brenda Lee. Don is survived by his loving family, wife of 53 years, Theresa; daughters, Crystal (James) and Dawn (Perez); son, Tony (Linda); sister, Carrie; brothers, Sandy (Geneva), Richard (Debbie) and Billy Ray; grandchildren, Christina and Valerie; great-grandchild, Logan; several nieces, nephews and scores of loving friends. There will be a memorial service on Monday, October, 24, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home, with a visitation one hour prior.
