Dolores Alice Egan, age 91, passed away peacefully at home on March 13, 2023, at home and in the presence of family. Dolores was well-loved and will be missed by her surviving family members: daughters Marybeth Besett and Karen Egan-Blackwood; son-in-law Bob Blackwood; and grandchildren Justin Besett, Nicole Besett, Jennifer Egan, Leah Blackwood, and Samantha Blackwood.

Dolores was predeceased by her husband, James Egan, and her son-in-law, Richard Besett. Dolores was born in Long Island, New York, and was raised in Hoboken, New Jersey. After a long history as a civil servant in New Jersey, Dolores retired to Florida in 1992. She loved her family, dogs, cooking, crossword puzzles, and Jeopardy.

Her remains will be interred next to her husband's remains at Serenity Meadows.
