MESSINA, Diane Lynn, 48 of Riverview FL, passed away unexpectedly Monday, September 10, 2007. She will be missed by her beloved husband Robert, her children,
daughter Nicole Wetzel, son Sgt. Stephen Wetzel of the
U.S. Marine Corps., his wife Emily, their daughter Ava, and her sister Darlene.
She will also be missed by her large and loving extended family that reaches across our great country she loved so dearly.
Born July 15, 1959 in New York, she graduated from Bellport Sr. High School, and completed her studies to become a certified cosmetologist from Wilfred Beauty Cosmetology. She then found her calling when she joined
the U.S. Marines and became one of the first women
to undergo combat training. Her most recent accomplishment was her 17 years of Corporate Service with Raymond James Financial. Diane's memory will live
on in all of our hearts.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM on
Monday, September 17, 2007 at Serenity Meadows Funeral
Home with Pastor Forrest Pollock officiating. In
lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Diane
