IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Debra D
Vitte
July 1, 1955 – February 13, 2025
Debra Diane Vitte (Tice), lovingly known as Debbe, passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind cherished memories of her vibrant spirit, creative heart, and unwavering love. Born on July 1, 1955, in Fort Knox, Kentucky, Debbe was the beloved daughter of the late Lloyd Tice and Barbara Tice (Hozeska).
A proud graduate of Gibsonburg High School, Class of 1973, Debbe later pursued her passion for design at Erwin Technical School, specializing in Interior Design. Her eye for beauty and talent for transformation led her to establish Riverside Designs and Upholstery, where she combined artistry with function. Throughout her life, she also worked in banking and bartending—roles in which her warm, lively personality always shined.
Debbe's love of design extended beyond interiors. She was a dedicated gardener and landscaper, a classic car enthusiast and exhibitor, and a racing team partner alongside her devoted life partner, Douglas Kenny. Whether managing properties, photographing sunrises, or walking the shoreline as a sea turtle conservationist, Debbe brought passion and intention to everything she touched. A lifelong beach lover, avid reader, and frequent traveler, she was as curious as she was creative.
Her most cherished roles in life were being "Aunt Debbe" and "GranDebbe." She poured endless love and encouragement into her nieces and grandchildren, celebrating their achievements and nurturing their dreams.
She is survived by her loving life partner Douglas Kenny; her sisters Pamela Dedes and Jennifer Cramer (spouse: David); her adored nieces Alexis, Anna, and Ella Dedes; extended family Kristen Keller (spouse: Clyde), Kellie Hall, and Nahomi Kenny; and her treasured grandchildren: Casey, Kenny, and Coy Keller; Connor, Grant, Brogan, and Nolan Hall; Kevin and Calvin Kenny. She also leaves behind dear friends Verna Galluppo and Vanessa Milford, who brought joy and companionship throughout her journey.
Debbe is reunited in peace with her parents, Lloyd and Barbara Tice, and her dear family member Michael Kenny.
In honor of her memory and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to causes dear to Debbe's heart:
