IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Deborah
Moore
May 11, 1964 – November 28, 2023
On Tuesday, November 28, 2023, after a fierce and diligent fight against cancer, Deborah (Debi) Moore peacefully passed into eternity, with her husband and beloved dog Tracker "Wolfie" Moore by her side. Debi was born May 11th, 1964, to her proud parents in Pittsburgh, PA.
Debi pursued many interests, some of which included reading, cross stitching, quilting and dogs. Her sewing room was her happy place, and it seemed to be the dog's happy place too because she kept a treat jar in there for them. She loved to tell stories about her beagles, Beau and Sammie. Then along came Tracker "Wolfie" Moore who got his own Facebook page, and he has more friends than her husband.
Some came to know Debi through her fierce battle against Colorectal Cancer. She took various regimens of chemotherapy and participated in trials over the last four years in hopes that a cure may be found. Debi knew that even if she was not cured, something would be learned from her treatments that would help others in the future. She was a true WARRIOR that gave it her all to the very last breath.
Debi is preceded in death by her parents. She leaves behind her loving husband, Gary Moore, whom she shared 30 years of cherished memories with. She will be deeply missed by their three children: Jennifer Pitman, Brian Moore, and Candace Seagroves, plus her eight grandchildren. Debi also leaves behind several close friends and an extensive list of Facebook/Instagram friends and followers that enjoyed her stories about Tracker "Wolfie" Moore and her battle with Colorectal cancer.
Gary would like to recognize Dr. Iman Imandirad, PA Kara Miller, RN Connie Hanlon, the Nurses in Infusion, and the many other staff members at Moffitt Cancer Center that took such great care of her these past 4 years. Dr. Iman Imanirad and PA Kara Miller cared so deeply for Debi, it was as if she was their only patient and that was the best part of this disease, so thank you.
Although our time with Debi was much too short, we take comfort in knowing she is in a better place today. In honor of Debi and in lieu of flowers or other gifts, we ask that donations be made to Moffitt Cancer Center.
