Deborah Lynn
Hutcheson
January 26, 1956 — September 6, 2021
Deborah Lynn Hutcheson was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She left this world on September 6, 2021, at age 65.
She was born in Danbury, Connecticut on January 26, 1956. After high school she joined the military and served in the Army. She went to school to become an RN and used those skills to provide compassionate care to many patients. She fell in love with Steven Hutcheson, and they were married on June 12, 1982. They loved each other well for 39 years. Together, they raised four children and had a bonus daughter: Allison, John, Christopher, Hillary, and Nancy. While she was raising her children, she ran a doula business, went back to school and achieved her RN, BSN, Magna Cum Laude, from Tampa University and worked as the nurse manager in the mother-baby units at Tampa General Hospital.
When she retired she pursued many other passions. During the last few years, she enjoyed treasure hunting for vintage items to sell in her Etsy shop, Peace Gypsy. She had an eagle eye and always knew which items would be a great item to sell. She had a brilliant mind and could regale you with the history of almost any item, especially vintage clothing and dishes. She did everything with excellence.
She was an amazing cook and showed her love by making delicious meals for her family. She was the best Mimi and made every event special for her grandkids. She hosted elaborate tea parties for holidays and went to extraordinary measures to outdo herself and make her grandchildren feel so special.
She had the heart of a hippie and desired to spread peace and love. She wanted a beautiful world, full of love, for her grandchildren to thrive and grow.
A celebration of life is scheduled for 9am to 4pm on September 17, 2021 at Alderman Ford Park in Plant City, Florida. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Bethel Woods Center Woodstock Museum .
