David Lawrence Hughes, 49, of Riverview, passed away on July 26, 2011. David was born on February 2, 1962 in Novi, Michigan. He was employed as a Systems Analyst with Verizon Inc. in the Tampa area and enjoyed his work with the company. David was also a dedicated and supportive father to his two children and lived his life for them and to their well-being. David is survived by his son, Thomas Hughes and daughter Cassidy Hughes; four brothers, Donald, John, James and Michael Hughes; his loving mother Beverly Reynolds along with many other relatives and good friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Don Hughes.

Memorial services will be held privately by the family at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of one's choice in the memory of David L. Hughes.
