David J. Furmanski, D.O.

December 17,1957- March 21, 2021

Dave was born and raised in Michigan where his love for travel began.  Growing up, the family traveled throughout Michigan. As an adult, he traveled extensively throughout the United States and abroad,

Dave practiced family medicine in Washington D. C., San Francisco and the Tampa area. He had many friends near and far.

Dave also had a passion for animals, preferring to adopt his pets from local shelters.  After an extended hospital stay, Dave returned home to his family and his pets, Maui and Albert prior to his death.

Dave is survived by his loving family- Mother- Barbara, Father-Joseph, Siblings-Doris and Patrick (Debbie), Significant Other-Susan Walters, Nephews- Eric and Bradley, Niece- Heather.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St Francis Society Animal Rescue - non-profit cat & dog rescue and adoption in Tampa Bay Florida at stfrancisrescue.org .
