Curiel, David, 56, of Lithia, born in East Chicago, IN, passed away on December 11, 2014. David graduated from Washington High School in 1976. He was a paramedic for the City of East Chicago. David was a member of St. Stephen Church. He loved Chicago sports and was always the life of the party. David was preceded in death by his sisters, Marina and Mariana Curiel. David is survived by his loving parents, Edward and Alice Curiel; siblings, Alice (Jesse) Castro, Charles Curiel, Lucy (Luis) Molina, Teresa (Armando) Wise, Roseanne Curiel, Edward Curiel, Jr., Richard Curiel, Christine (William) Walwik, Rita (Argelio) Lopez, Joseph (Kelly) Curiel, and Mary Curiel; 19 nieces and nephews; and 22 great nieces and nephews. There will be a Mass of the Resurrection on Tuesday, December 16 at 11:00am at St. Stephen Catholic Church, 5049 Bell Shoals Road, Valrico, FL. There will be a Memorial Mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in East Chicago, IN; date to be determined. Interment will follow the Memorial Mass. David will be missed by all.
