Davey Q Evans, passed away May 3 2018 at St Joseph Hospital. He was born 1957 in Winter Haven, FL. He volunteered hundreds of hours for the schools that his children attended, knowing the importance of giving back to the community. He served in the US Navy. He was a mechanic and working numerous jobs till injuries caused him not to be able to work. He could repair cast nets and loved to fish. He loved playing baseball and was a talented artist who once painted a picture for a Doctor to pay for his visit. He loved working out in the yard and in his work shop. Davey loved his children and wanting them to succeed in everything they did. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, George Zed Wright and Avis L Boardman; parents, Bobby Evans and Nellie Evans; aunt, Eva Morgan; sister, Cynthia Evans Smith; cousins, Judy Morgan Tew, and Joseph Morgan. Davey is survived by spouse, Barbi Evans; sons, Davey, Tom (Yanira), Andy, and Scott Evans; aunt, Lulabelle Powell; uncles, Norman (Martha) Wright, Mason (Martha) Wright; nieces and nephews, Daniel, Christina Ransom, Brigitte Ransom Hale, Angela Ransom Crib, Steven, Randy Traina, Rita Traina Glew, Dennis, Avis Smith  and numerous great nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his loving family and all who knew him. Services will be conducted Wednesday May 9, 2018 at 12:00 pm Serenity Meadows Funeral Home in Riverview, FL, with a gathering one hour prior.
