Darryl M Betlejewski, 56, of Apollo Beach, FL passed away on December 5, 2025. He was born on April 19, 1969 in Chicago, IL to Daniel Betlejewski and Beverly Calabrese.
Darryl grew up on the south side of Chicago. He attended Brother Rice High School and later went to Northern Illinois University. He became a member of the Delta Sigma Phi fraternity, and built deep, lifelong friendships and found brothers who remained close throughout his life. His friends were so special to him, and he loved being the life of the party.
Darryl was a successful and respected mortgage banker for over 29 years until 2020. He then joined his wife Julie, to help run and grow their cleaning company. Darryl loved to work and always kept busy. He was highly ambitious and consistently exceeded expectations.
Darryl and Julie married each other on the beach and had a beautiful wedding. He became "Dad" to Ella and Angelo. He took his role as dad very seriously and gave his all to being a great provider to his family. Darryl was also dad to Murphy, Milo, and Camo, his beloved dogs. Darryl was happiest when he was boating. He always found peace being out on the water. He enjoyed it so much that he and Julie moved to Florida. Darryl's love of cars was well known, and he happily spent his time buying, selling, and talking about them.
Darryl is preceded in death by his father, Daniel Betlejewski. Darryl is survived by his loving wife, Julie, stepchildren, Ella and Angelo, mother, Beverly Augustynek Calabrese, twin brother, Derek Betlejewski, nephews, Logan and Christopher Betlejewski, sister-in-law, Trish Betlejewski, and his father and mother-in-law's, Dennis and Virginia Jungmann. Darryl will be so deeply missed by all who knew him.
