Campfield, Darriel Gene, 75, of Valrico passed away on August 14, 2014. He was born on June 24, 1939 in Muhlenberg, Kentucky. Darriel relocated to the area 55 years ago. After high school he enlisted in the Army, and was part of the 82nd Airborne. He worked at Bordens Dairy for 25 years. Darriel is survived by his wife Julia, sister Elenor Spauding, children; EK Campfield, Kimberly Brooksbank, Cricket (Donyette) Gowan, Julee Harrison, and Shawna Torrente, and 10 grandchildren. A Memorial service will take place on Saturday August 23, 2014 at 2pm at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home. The family will receive guests from 1:30pm to the start of the service.
