Danilo A. Escobio, Sr., 74, of Tampa, passed away on March 9, 2012. He worked as a welder for the City of Tampa for 31 years and enjoyed fishing. Danilo is survived by his loving family, wife of 39 years, Debra J Escobio; son, Danilo A. Escobio, Jr of Tampa; brothers, Rene (Barbara) Escobio of Tampa and Armando (Barbara) Escobio, Jr of Key West; mother and father-in-law, Olga and Albert Fernandez of Tampa; sister-in-law, Denise (Frank) Cavanaugh of Libby, MT; cousin, Manuel (Della) Escobio of Tampa; and nephews, Rene, Jr and David. There will be a memorial gathering on Thursday, March 15, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home, with a service at 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the charity of your choice. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Ybor Healthcare Center for their loving care.
