Morgan, Daniel W., Sr., 83, of Brandon, passed away on February 5, 2013. He proudly served in the US Navy during WWII and the Korean War. He was a Shriner, a Past Worshipful Master of the Brandon Masonic Lodge #114 and a member of First United Methodist Church of Brandon. Daniel is a survived by his loving family, wife, Betty Jean Morgan; son, Daniel Morgan, Jr.; daughters, Susan Wood, Karen Yeager, Melody Gleason and Mary Ippolito; sister, Martha Smith; 13 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. There will be a funeral service on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at 11:00 am at the First United Methodist Church of Brandon, with a gathering one hour prior. Daniel will be laid to rest on Monday, February 11, 2013 at 11:30 am at Florida National Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church Music Department.
