It is with great anguish and heart break that we announce the sudden passing of Daniel Calise Sr. on October 6 ^th , 2019.

Daniel was born to an Italian family in Brooklyn, New York on February 13, 1956. He enjoyed sports, nature, laughing, and time spent with family and friends. Dan was a deeply loving partner, hardworking dedicated father, and extremely proud grandfather.  He touched so many people throughout his short life and is missed greatly.

Dan is survived and cherished by his longtime partner Julie Wittemann; his parents Vito and Dolores Calise; brothers Nick, Greg, and Stephen Calise; his children son Daniel Calise Jr. and daughter-in-law Tracey Calise, daughter Jennifer Calise and son- in- law Chris Evans. Dan is the treasured grandfather to; Bryce and Danni Evans, Jacob and Isabella Calise whom he is also survived by.

A Memorial Mass to celebrate Dan's life will be held at Saint Anne Catholic Church located at 106 11 ^th Ave NE, Ruskin FL. on November 14 ^th at 10am with a celebratory gathering to follow.  Please bring photos, and embarrassing stories to add laughter (and a bit of retaliation) in remembrance of him leaving us way too soon. Dan, we all love and miss you endlessly…per sempre!
