Dana Curtas Gustafson went home to be with her Lord, December 6, 2012 at the age of 64. She is survived by her devoted husband of 45 years, Dr. Bob Gustafson; precious daughters Rebecca McKeen & husband Barry , Rachel Robbins & husband Chris and preceded by her daughter Ruth Tindale. She will be greatly missed by her beloved grandchildren Paul, Grace, Josie, Joey, Joshua, Joel and Jonah. Dana was the older sister to six brothers, John, Mark, Paul, Luke, David & Steve; daughter of the late Ted and Jacqueline Curtas and stepdaughter to Yvonne Curtas. Since moving to Brandon in the early 1970's Bob and Dana began Grace Community Church and Grace Christian School. "Miss Dana" was faithful to these ministries from the beginning as church secretary, school coordinator Awana leader, drama director, and so much more. She had a great love for the Hospital Ministry, where patients have been visited at local hospitals for 39 years. She also authored the book, "Life is a Maintenance Program and You're the Janitor". Foremost, was Dana's unrelenting desire to see others come to a saving knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. A memorial celebration will be held Monday, December 10th at 6:30 p.m. in the Grace Christian School Gymnasium, with a reception following in the dining hall. In lieu of flowers, Dana requested a gift to the school or the Hospital Ministry.
