Bowden, Curtis D., 73, of Brandon passed away on October 11, 2016. He was born on August 19, 1943 in Bishop, Virginia. Curtis served his church as a Deacon and Sunday School teacher. Curtis retired from Florida Steel after 34 years of service. Curtis is survived by his wife Becky, sons; Tim (Evelyn), and Todd (Janene), daughter Wendy (Richard) Young, 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, a brother Carroll (Debby) and Barb Minton (sister-in-law). A Memorial service will take place at First Baptist Church of Brandon (216 N. Parsons Ave.) on Saturday, October15th beginning with visitation at 10am and service at 11am.
