Sikkema, Connie Le, age 77, left us for her Heavenly Father on August 8, 2019. Loved by all who came across her path, she dedicated her life in service to God, community, and family. She gave love and devotion to all who asked for her help. Her creation and tireless work with Messiah Lutheran Migrant Ministries helped ease the struggle and burden for migrant workers and their children within Hillsborough County. She will forever be remembered as a loving Mother and Mimi to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Connie exemplified the amazing power of love and left her impression on this world for generations to come. It is with great sadness that we say goodbye, but with great joy that we remember a woman who assuredly has more adventures ahead. Connie is survived by her loving family, children, Gregory Sikkema, Carrie (Jeff) Campbell, and Brenda Fulcher; siblings, Dean ( Cathie) Kieborz, Ruth (Red) Wray, Roger (Suzan) Kieborz, Nancy (Jim) Lewis, and Sona (Walter) Scott; grandchildren, Micah Sikkema, Sidni Sikkema, Bradley (Brittany) Campbell, Jacob (Morgan) Campbell, Chloe Campbell; and great grandchildren, Noah and Salem Campbell. A memorial service will be held at Messiah Lutheran Church, 14920 Hutchison Road, Tampa, FL 33625 on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Cure Alzheimer's Fund at curealz.org
