Obituary

Coleen Estep, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend went to be with her Lord on April 3, 2008.
She loved her family and was known as GiGi to all of her family and friends. She was born on February 6, 1929 in Pueblo, CO. Coleen was a proud member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma.
She traveled the world with her husband, Paul, during his 30 year career in the USAF. They retired to Roxbury, PA in 1973 and lived there until 2003. She moved to Brandon, FL in 2003.
She was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Paul Estep; her mother, Nell Cavin Hudson; her father, A.D. Cavin; her sister, Barbara Perkins; and her brother, Bud Cavin. She is survived by her son, Jeff Estep (San Juan Capistrano, CA) and his wife, Liliana Estep, their children, Jeremy Estep (Atlanta, GA) and his wife, Jackie Estep, Shawn Estep (Encintas, CA) and Olivia Cartelli; her son, Greg Estep (Leander, TX) and his wife Karen Carter; her daughters, Paula Estep (formerly of Roxbury, PA), Suzan Williams (Brandon, FL) and her husband Jerry Williams, their daughters, Nicole Tyler (Gibsonton, FL) and her husband Adam Tyler, and Megan Willams (Brandon, FL). Her 4 great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Tyler, Colin Tyler, Reiss Estep and Cavin Estep. Her daugher in law, Leslie Estep (Keeau, HI) and her loving 3rd daughter, Paula Hamilton (Chambersburg, PA) and her loving nieces and nephews.
Coleen was dedicated to her family and she was grateful to be able to enjoy her grand children and her great grandchildren. Her Christian attitude, compassion and love was an inspiration to all that knew her.
She was a member of the Roxbury United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women's Thursday Club, and had been active in the Lurgan's Lions Club of Roxbury, PA. She was an Auxiliary member of the Pleasant Hall Fire Company. For 25 years she enjoyed playing golf at the Letterkenny Ladies League on Monday nights and Thursday mornings. She loved driving the school bus for Bert's Transportation and was very proud of her time as a Red Cross Volunteer.
Her favorite verse was: When I come to the end of the road
and the sun has set for me,
I want no rites in a gloom filled room,
Why cry for a soul set free?

Miss me a little - but not too long
and not with your head bowed low.
Remember the love that was once shared:
Miss me but let me go.

For this is a journey we all must take
and each must go alone.
It's all part of the Master Plan,
A step on the road to home.

When you are lonely and sick of heart,
go to the friends we know,
and bury your sorrows in doing good deeds.
Miss me but let me go.

Services will take place at Arlington National Cemetery in late June, where she will join her loving husband Paul.
The family requests that any contributions be made in her memory to the Pleasant Hall Fire Company, P.O. Box 115, Pleasant Hall, PA, 17246.

She will be missed by all who knew her.
