Obituary

Clyde Maxwell Miller, 89, of Riverview, FL, peacefully passed away on January 31, 2025. He was born to Ed and Fannie Miller,1935, in Vernon, FL. In 1953, He joined the United States Army where he proudly served his country.  Clyde married the love of his life, Bessie Mullins Miller, in 1954. After his military service, he drove cross country trucking for several years and then he worked for Diamond Crystal Salt Company. He then started his career in construction, working with his father and brothers at Miller Brothers of Florida, where he retired after 35 years.  Once retired, he and Bessie enjoyed traveling, fishing and spending time with family and friends. He loved to listen to southern gospel music and worshiping his Savior. He attended Reach City Christian Center, where he was a member for over 55 years and dearly loved his pastors and his church family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward J. & Fannie Miller, his beloved wife of 68 ½ years, Bessie, his son Rocky Mullins, 2 brothers Jack and Curtis Miller.

He is survived by his children Helen Mullins, Clyde E. Miller (Phyllis), Joyce Heath (Benny), and Brenda Porter (Michael), 8 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.

Clyde will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
