TWOMEY, Christopher M., 59, of Tampa, born February 10, 1948, in Brookline, Mass., passed away Monday, February 4, 2008, after a short illness. He was a retired disabled veteran who served with the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War, and received numerous commendations for his service, including the Purple Heart. He was predeceased by his parents, Christopher J. and Catherine Twomey of Brookline, Mass. He is survived by his loving children, Chris and Megan Twomey of Charlotte, N.C. He is survived by 11 brothers and sisters. A private memorial service and burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local chapter of homeless vets in Chris' name.
