Cheryl Marie Mahoney, 61, passed away on September 21, 2020. Cheryl was born on July 8, 1959 in Youngstown, Ohio. She is the daughter of late Patrick Beatty Jr. and Sara Beatty. She is the wife of Terry Mahoney Sr. They shared 39 wonderful years of marriage together. Cheryl passed away in Tampa, Florida surrounded by her loved ones.

Cheryl is survived by her loving husband Terry; son T.J. and wife Ashleigh; daughter Jessica and husband Christopher; grandchildren Liam, Kaden and Declan; her mother Sara; siblings Patrick III, Kathleen, David, and Elizabeth. She was predeceased by her father Patrick Beatty Jr.

Cheryl's greatest joy in life was her family. She was a devoted mother and was incredibly proud of both her children: a firefighter and a teacher. Cheryl was the greatest Mamaw to her grandsons and always enjoyed their visits. Along with being an amazing mother and grandmother, she was an extremely helpful daughter and sister. She was one who everyone could count on, she was always there when someone needed her.

A funeral service will be held at St. Mary's Catholic church in Tampa, Florida on October 9, 2020 at 10:00a.m. The reception will be held immediately afterwards at Glory Days on N. Dale Mabry Hwy. The Graveside service will be at Serenity Meadows in Riverview, Florida at 2:00p.m.
