Roberts, Charles F., 87, of Gibsonton passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2011. Born in Ft. Gaines, Georgia, Mr. Roberts has been a Gibsonton resident since 1957. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Riverview and he enjoyed fishing. Survivors include daughters, Linda Lovejoy; Marilyn Gail (Jerry) Lolley, April R. (George) Vogel; step-daughters, Katherine L. Lewis; Virginia (Richard) Midway; step-son, Walter R. Carr, Jr.; grandchildren, Justin Vogel; Josh Vogel; David Finney; Michelle Finney; Desire Putaski; Jennifer Nelson; Melanie Nelson; Cindy Nelson and many great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Barbara and his son James. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 30, 2011 at Serenity Meadows Funeral Homes at 4:00 p.m. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time.
