Charles W. Presnell passed away on August 22, 2024 after a long bout with Parkinsons and dementia. He is survived by his wife Patricia Ingram Presnell, his brother Jackson Tysor and Carolyn Presnell of Charlotte. His foster brother James Winfred Wheeler predeceased him. His children survive him: Donna and Bob Arrington, Gail Presnell Jones, Mark and Carol Presnell and grandchildren: Brandon Arrington, Jesse C. Jones, and Savannah Raye Jones, Dr. Sarah and Daniel Wyrick and great grand daughters Audrey and Amelia Wyrick. Charlie graduated from the University of Delaware with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and was active in swimming and diving there. After his two year ROTC commitment he was employed by Scott Paper Co. for 34 years. He was a former member of First Presbyterian Church of Brandon and Buckhorn Golf and Country Club.
