McHugh, Charles T., 82, passed away on September 20, 2016. Born and raised in Leicester, Massachusetts, Charles was the youngest of five. He had three older brothers and one older sister, all deceased. After enlisting in the U.S. Air Force, he was stationed in Fort Worth, Texas where he met his wife, Patsy. For many years Charles was employed as a sales engineer by Citgo and later by Texaco Oil Company. In the Tampa area, he was employed by Mariani Asphalt. After retirement, he enjoyed going to the beach and taking cruises. He spent many memorable vacations on Caribbean cruises, or at the beach with his children and grandchildren. Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy, who passed away in January of 2008. They were married for almost 54 years. Charles is survived by daughters Theresa Lessard (Ronald) and Paula Smith (Irvin), sons Thomas (Susan) and Timothy (Barbara), 10 grandchildren: Christine, Jimmy, Todd, Jenny, Meaghan, Brenna, Eric, Tommy, Kyle, and Jessica, and 17 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 26, 2016 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Sun City Center from 10-11am. Mass will be conducted at 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name to Alzheimer's Association (alz.org).
