Hunter, Charles W., Jr. "Woody", 60, of Valrico, passed away on December 30, 2009. Woody retired from the United States Air Force and proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. He was awarded the Military Citizen of the Year Award in 1986 by the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce. He was a coach and a board member with the North Brandon Little League. He is preceded in death by his brother, Robert Hunter. Woody is survived by his wife of 37 years, Glenda; sons, Gary and his wife, Janie, Hunter and Charlie and his wife, Katie, Hunter; mother, Ramona LeMaster; brothers, Kenneth, Ronnie and Russell Hunter; sister, Charlotte Konesky; and grandsons, Dakota, Jesse and Jordan. There will be a celebration of Woody's life on Sunday, January 3, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Serenity Meadows Memorial Park, with a gathering beginning one hour prior. The family requests that you honor Woody by dressing casually for his service.
