Christopher, Charles Harold, Sr., 77, passed away on February 12, 2012. He is survived by his loving wife, Sue, of 55 years; his children, Gail Morgan, Linda Robbins, Sandy Guthrie, Charles Christopher, Jr and Shelia Basnight; 4 son-in-laws and 1 daughter-in-law; 14 grandchildren, 2 of which are currently serving overseas, in Afghanistan and Japan; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Jane Sprague of Maine and brother, Frankie Christopher of Tampa. Harold enlisted in the Navy in 1952, where he served as a Chief Petty Officer. He also served as a Seabee in the Vietnam War. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bert and Rexie Christopher, sisters, Dot Roach and Dolores Warden; brothers, Fred, Henry, Ed and Raymond Christopher. The family would like to give a special thanks to the Green Team at LifePath Hospice. There will be a visitation on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home. There will be a funeral service on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at 2:00 pm.
