Celia was born in Caguas, PR. She went to live in Chicago in the 1950's for 40 years, Then moved to Pt Charlotte, FL and Riverview, FL.
She was preceded in death by her late husband Jose A. Ortega, son Jose A. Diaz, parents Juan Flores & Monica Galarza, granddaughter Leilani Diaz, siblings Domingo Flores, Felicita Ruiz, Martha Lugo. She is survived by daughters, Ada Iris Diaz (Richard) & Doris Ortega-Rivera (Adolfo Jr.), grandchildren Maria Flanagan, Enrique Flanagan (Shamika), Nicholas Diaz (Teresa), Ryan Rivera, Joselyn Rivera-Winslow (Byron). great grandchildren Victor Diaz, Isaiah Diaz-Flores, Xavian Flanagan, Amare Rosario, Nicholas Diaz, Angelique Diaz, Cameron Winslow, siblings Francisco, Roberto, Nicolas, Carmen, Luis, Teresa, Evan, Jose.

Celia Loved walking and gardening. Her plants and flowers were her other babies. She also loved visiting new places. She was a loving, hard-working, and strong individual. She always jumped at the chance to help others. She was wise, uplifting, and an inspiration to many. Throughout all of the curve balls that life threw at her, she fought hard, never complained, and held on to her strong faith in God. She was spunky, quick witted, and loved to joke around. She was a valiant warrior until the very end. She could be heard saying, "God doesn't give us more than we can handle", and "Only God knows why". Her adorable face, charming spirit, and the impact that she made on others will be remembered by all that knew her.
