Cecilia Ann Safarik passed away on September 20, 2019. She was born to Laura and Felix Hernandez in New York City on March 2,1945. She lived the last 40 years of her life throughout the Tampa area.

Cecilia was a member of the Moose Family Center 1880, and drew a great deal of happiness and purpose through many activities there. This is where she spent time volunteering to raise money for charity, serving the homeless, and enjoying her time with her significant other, Fran Bellestri and many other dear friends.

Her second daughter, Kimberly Diane Carlo preceded her death on July 21, 2008. She is otherwise survived by her daughters Kristen Malave, Karen Safarik, grandchildren Jordan Mooney, Joseph Carlo, Robert Carlo, Sebastian Appel, Sasha Appel, her significant other Fran Bellestri, her ex-husband and father to her children Charles Safarik, and her sweet dog Niña.

Please join in support of family and friends for a celebration of life and storytelling in memory of our dear Cecilia. A service will be held on October 5th at Serenity Meadows at 6919 Providence Road, Riverview, FL 33578. Reunion at 2pm with a service to begin at 3pm.
