Cecil Lamon Smith, 75, of Riverview, FL went home to be with his Heavenly Father on July 20, 2018.
Lamon was born in Dothan, AL to Cecil and Geraldine Smith.
He married Peggy in January, 1979 and was a proud father of 4 children, and even more proud grandfather of 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
In his spare time Lamon enjoyed woodworking and was a member of First Methodist Church of Riverview.
Oldest of 11 siblings he was predeceased by his brother Carl Smith.
Lamon is survived by his wife Peggy, children Ward, Troy, Christina (Kevin) Charles  and Russell Smith, Grandchildren Bret, Brittany, Kayla and Carley Smith, 2 great grandchildren and 9 siblings Charles, Kenny, Martha (Eddie) Stillwell, Vernon (Darlene), Foy (Elaine), John (Ellen), Richard (Becky), Doyle Smith and Sissy Hoyt.
Graveside service will be held at Hackney Cemetery in Riverview, FL, on Monday , July 23, 2018 at 10 am with Rev. Rick Smith officiating.
