Cebert Boyce was born in Brooklyn, NY and on June 16, 2014, at the age of 82 he was called home to be with his late wife, Aurille Boyce. Cebert, a U.S. Army Vet., served his country in the Korean War, earning the Korean Service Metal with two bronze service stars, a United Nations Service Medal, and a National Defense Service Medal. After his service, Cebert, returned back to New York where he married his late wife, Aurille Boyce, in 1975. With this union he raised two step-sons, Michael and Richard Clarke. He retired from New York Metropolitan Transit Authority after 21 years of exceptional service. In 1994, Cebert and Aurille, moved to Florida to be close to their youngest son, Richard, and his family. Cebert was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He enjoyed playing cards, working out in his yard, and eating his late wife's potato salad. Cebert will be greatly missed by many. He leaves behind four adult children from previous marriages, Ina, Cecilia, Marcus, and Saronda and their children; sons Michael and Richard Clarke; daughter-in-law, Yvonne; grandchildren, Stephen, Lisa, Christopher, and Brian; great-grandchildren, Dwyane and Noel; a host of nieces and nephews; sisters, Eunice, Elaine and Inez; and a host of other family and friends. Funeral service will take place on Saturday June 28, 2014 at 3pm at Serenity Meadows. Viewing will be one hour prior to service.
