Cathy Remson-Gardella-McGuire, 55, of Riverview,
passed away on March 25, 2008. Cathy was the daughter
of Robert (deceased) and Virginia Remson. She leaves
her two loving sons, Danny (Jacque) and Christopher
(Lisa) Gardella; step-daughter; Jody (Mike) Liptak;
sister, Robin Remson; brothers, Robert Jr. (Penny) and
Keith (Anna) Remson; grandsons, D'Angelo, Nicholas and
Santino Gardella, and Cory Westerfield; granddaughters,
Kelly, Desiree, Emily and Bailey; nephews, Robert III
and Matthew Remson; nieces, Caitlyn and Jamie Remson,
Cassie (James) McDaniel; six loving aunts and uncles,
and forty-one first cousins.

Cathy was a direct descendent of Rem Jansen
Vanderbeeck and Jannetje Rapelje who came to America
in 1623, their large farm was on the East River in the
Wallabout in what is now Brooklyn, NY. She has a sharp
knowledge of early American History. There will be a
gathering of family and friends on Friday, March 28,
2008 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Serenity Meadows
Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday,
March 29, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Stephen Catholic
Church. Cathy is with God the Father now. Her life
here is over, yet she leaves an afterglow of happier
times, like an echo softly whispering down life's
