MASSARA, Carolyn Louise, born Carolyn Louise Stewart in Binghamton, NY on May 8, 1942 passed away in Brandon, FL on December 17, 2007.
Carolyn is survived by her loving family,
her husband of 32 years, Heywood Massara,
step-son, James Michael Massara, Norcross, GA
sister and brother-in-law, Lulu and Bill Ford, Williamsburg, VA and
many nieces and nephews across the United States.
Carolyn enjoyed a five year mid-life vacation, traveling twice around the country in a private railroad car while her husband was in charge of the Ringling Bros. Barnum and Bailey Red Unit Circus Train.
She held a current cosmetology license but hadn't practiced at it for many years. While drafting for Florida DOT and before the arrival of computers,
her line and lettering work was selected for the DOT Standards book.
She was a life member of Florida Gulf Coast Railroad Museum.
She rests in the hands of God who soothes all earthly pain.
A Celebration of Carolyn's Life will be held at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, December 21, 2007 at 7:00 p.m.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
