Carol Abernathy Mcneely's Obituary
Carol Abernathy McNeely died October 13, 2007 in Brandon Florida of complications due to diabetes.
Born April 24, 1925 in Iowa Park, Texas, she grew up on a ranch and attended Texas Women's University, graduating in 1946. She was an enthusiastic first grade teacher, avid volunteer, dedicated wife, mother and grandmother who loved to bake.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Kenneth L. McNeely of Norwich CT.; and sister, Dorothy Abernathy. Surviving are her daughter, Linda Hermansen and husband, Doug of Lithia, FL , daughter, Luann Edwards and husband, Gary of Colleyville TX; sister, Martha McSteen Parks of Carrollton, TX; and five grandchildren - Anne, Eric & Natalie Hermansen, Brendan & Cory Edwards.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 20, 2007 at 3:00 pm at the Bozrah Congregational Church, 23 Bozrah Street, Bozrah, CT.
