BALLMANN, CAROL S., 79 Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving husband of 61 years, George Ballmann, and their children, Daniel and Kristen, on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2026. Carol was born in Ozone Park, New York. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She graduated high school at 16 and started her career in Manhattan, NY, as a secretary. 

After her marriage to George, Carol embraced the life of a military spouse, accompanying her husband wherever he was stationed. They lived in California and New York and settled in Florida in 1975. After moving to Florida, Carol worked as an office manager for over 40 years until retirement. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Charlotte Stadelmeier, and her sister, Jane Heath. 

Carol is survived by her husband George; her son, Daniel (wife Marissa), her daughter, Kristen; grandchildren Samantha Ballmann, Cameron Solomon (husband Stephen), Stephen Ballmann (fiancée Hailey), Scott Ballmann, Alexis Solomon (fiancé Christopher), Spencer Ballmann, Sean Ballmann, and Ian McLargin, along with other family members. 

Visitation and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2:00 p.m., at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home. The address is 6919 Providence Road, Riverview, FL 33578. 

Carol will be laid to rest at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL, during a private burial at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Hospice. The family is deeply grateful for the kindness and dignity provided during this time.
