Carmen L Rodriguez, 74, passed away on January 24, 2017 in Brandon, Florida. She was born on March 22, 1942 in Las Marias Puerto Rico. Carmen attended school in Las Marias Puerto Rico and was employed at Derossi for 12 years and also as a seamstress for the Navy Factory in Newark, New Jersey for seven years. Carmen was a faithful member of the Spanish Catholic in Vineland New Jersey, and later she joined Nativity Catholic Church in Brandon Florida. She enjoyed gardening, shopping, joking and spending time with family members. She is predeceased by her husband of 43 years, Otilio Rodriguez and her parents Juan Domingo and Seledoria Pratts. She is survived by three children; Alberto, Carmen, and Cynthia. Siblings; Jose, Jenny, Rogelio, Blanca, and Thomas. Grandchildren; Carmen, Angel, Natalia, Tabitha, Desiree, Ja'wuan, Anthony, Ant'wuan, and Ma'kayla. Great Grandchildren; Gavin, Michael, Gabriel, Marcus, Jaxon, and Arabella. Services will be held in the Chapel of Nativity Catholic Church at 11:30 am on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 with a visitation to take place one hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to be made out to Carmen Pagan at 2932 Property Lane, Valrico, FL 33594.
