Sotomayor, Carmelo, Sr, "Carl", 65, of Riverview,
passed away on June 19, 2008. Carmelo loved his 64 1/2
Mustang and wrestling, but most of all he loved his
family.
He is survived by his loving family, wife of 37 years,
Miriam; sons, Carmelo "Mel" Sotomayor, Jr and Danny
(Jennifer) Sotomayor; daughter, Sarah (Joseph) Gallo;
brother, Hector Sotomayor, Sr.; granddaughter, Leigha
Skye Sotomayor, in addition to a wonderful extended
family and close family friends. There will be a
gathering of family and friends on Sunday, June 22,
2008 from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Serenity Meadows
Memorial Park and Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, June 23, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Carmelo was a generous
man who would do anything for anybody. He loved
receiving company and always had the coffee ready. He
will be missed by all who knew him.
