Romano, Carmel, 92, of Valrico passed away on February 1, 2016. She was born on April 19, 1923 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Joseph and Isabella Marino. Carmel took great pride in caring for and raising a family. She loved to cook every bodies favorite meals, when she wasn't cooking she loved to knit and read. Carmel is survived by son Ralph (Robin) Romano, daughter Elise (Paul) Morley, grandchildren; Aaron (Darcie), Megan (Ken), Matthew (Amanda), Sarah, and Elisabeth, great grandchildren; Elias, Aaron Jr., Kenlee, Benjamin, Greyson, and Roman, sister Angela Marino. Carmel was preceded in death by her husband Frank, and daughter Joan. A Funeral service will take place on Friday, February 5, 2016 at 11:30am at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home. The family will receive guests from 10 am to the start of the service.
