Carla was a ray of light that shone like a warm day at the beach. She loved fiercely and is well loved. Carla always had room in her heart for more and she is an unforgettable person. She was a doting wife, a loyal friend, a caring daughter, and an amazing Grandma. Her passing will leave us all with a hole in our hearts and an ache in our soul.

Carla left us to be with the Lord early Christmas morning, December 25 2022. Her husband Jim was by her side as she departed. After an intense year long battle with cancer, we can find solace in knowing that she is no longer in pain.

Carla was born January 31, 1967 in Portsmouth, VA to Earnie and Beverly Hall. She is survived by her Mother Beverly Hall, Brother Michael, Husband James Smith, and grandson Ryan Smith. Carla is predeceased by her father Earnest and her daughter Holly.

Carla found the most joy in being around the ones she loved. She also loved travelling with her loved ones to places like the beach, Disney and always had a great time with Jim in Biloxi. She was a huge animal lover and had many dogs and cats during her years. She loved visiting her friends and old coworkers. She was always ready for her next adventure.
